Description
When floor space is limited, a ceiling-mounted drying rack makes use of the vertical space above your head. This installation service covers locating the ceiling joists or solid fixing points, positioning the rack to suit the room’s layout, and securing it with hardware rated for the expected load. We also check that the rack can be operated comfortably at the chosen height.
The process we follow:
- Joist or substrate detection using a stud finder and visual checks
- Marking out the fixing centres and confirming with you
- Drilling pilot holes and installing anchors or coach screws
- Hanging the rack and checking that all pulleys or cords move freely
The price shown is a deposit for a tailored ceiling rack installation. The final cost reflects the ceiling type, the rack’s size and weight, and the number of fixing points required. Fill in our requirement form with details of the rack and the room height, and we will return a fixed quotation.
